All of it, from the West End, Kensington and the City to Hampstead, Canary Wharf, Wimbledon and Richmond. Give the specialist your postcode on the call and the time is agreed there and then. If a same-day visit is not possible on the edge of London, we book an insured courier instead on the same terms.

Can we meet inside my bank?

Yes. Pick whichever branch of your own bank suits you and the buyer meets you there at the agreed time. You can see the payment arrive on your banking app or with the cashier before the bag leaves your hands.

Is there a charge for the visit or for parking?

No. Travel and authentication cost you nothing, and the figure agreed on the phone is the figure paid. Nothing comes off it for the visit.

Do I have to decide on the day?

No. You can say no at any point until the money is sent, including after authentication, and there is still no charge for the visit.

Will anyone know I have sold a bag?

Not from us. Nothing is listed or published, and your photos are used only to price and authenticate the bag. The meeting is one you arranged, at a place you chose.

Where We Meet: Home, Office or Your Bank

You choose the place. Most sellers pick one of three, and each needs a little arranging.

Parking, Concierges and Building Access

Nothing comes off the figure for travel. If parking near you is tight, say so on the call and the buyer will plan around it. If you live in a mansion block or a building with a front desk, ask the specialist for the name of the buyer who is coming and pass it to the concierge. The front desk only needs a name and a flat number, not the reason for the visit.

Meeting in Your Own Bank

Pick whichever branch of your bank is easiest to reach. The buyer authenticates the bag at a table, the transfer is sent, and you check it has arrived on your banking app or with the cashier before the bag leaves your hands. It is a normal request, and we would always rather you felt safe than hurried.

How the Two Hour Clock Works

The two hours start when authentication finishes, not when you send the photos, and they run on a UK banking day. Faster Payments usually moves money between UK banks in seconds, so on the day the variable is the traffic, not the transfer. This is how a weekday sale can run:

Safety and Discretion

Selling a bag worth thousands to someone who comes to your door should feel careful. The sale is set up so you never have to take anything on trust.

You keep the bag until the money clears. Check your banking app before you hand it over, not after.
Check who is coming. Ask the specialist for the buyer's name and ask to see identification at the door. If anything feels wrong, hang up and ring the desk yourself on 07939 590661, rather than any number you have been sent.
No fees, ever. We never ask for a deposit, a fee or your online banking passwords. Anyone who does is not us.
Bring someone if you like. A partner, a friend or a colleague is welcome to sit in.
Nothing listed, nothing published. Your photos are used to price and authenticate the bag and for nothing else. There is no listing and no auction page, so the sale stays between you and us.

What to Have Ready

A visit is quick when everything is on the table before the buyer arrives.

The bag, with its key, lock and clochette.
The box and the original receipt. The receipt settles the year and proves ownership in one go.
The dust bag and anything else that came with it, if you still have them.
Photo ID and proof of address. We ask for both on every purchase, without exception.
A UK bank account in your name and your phone with the banking app, so you can see the payment land.
