We buy Hermes bags that meet three tests: made from 2012 onwards, sold as a complete set, and able to pass authentication in person. Anything else we turn down at the start, so you know where you stand before anyone travels.
What We Do
We buy Hermes handbags from private owners across the UK and pay for them ourselves. We do not consign, broker, list or auction, so there is no waiting for a buyer and no commission taken off the figure. In London a buyer comes to you the same day; elsewhere we send an insured courier. Every step is set out on how selling your bag works.
This site is not a shop, and nothing on it is for sale. Hermes, Birkin, Kelly and Constance are trade marks of Hermes International, and we use them only to describe the bags we buy. Hermes does not buy its own bags back, which is why owners turn to independent buyers.

The models we buy are the Birkin, Kelly, Constance, Kelly Pochette, Kelly Cut, Bolide, Lindy, Picotin, Evelyne, Herbag, Garden Party, in calf, goat, canvas and exotic skins. Today's bands for each are on the Hermes bags we buy. Older bags are a different trade, with different buyers and different prices, and we would rather say no on the first call than after a journey. The date stamp checker gives you the year from the letter inside the bag.
How Our Price Bands Are Set
Every buying figure on this site comes from one pricing model. Each model and size has a base figure, calibrated against publicly advertised UK purchase prices and current demand. The details you pick then move it up or down. The band you see is the midpoint plus or minus nine per cent, rounded to the nearest £100. A Birkin 30 in Togo with palladium hardware, in Noir, excellent condition and a full set, has a midpoint of £11,700 and a band of £10,600 to £12,700.

A band is a guide, not an offer. The firm offer is one number from a specialist who has looked at your photos, and it stands unless the bag turns out to be materially different from them.
Our Editorial Policy for the Guides
The Hermes price guide and our selling guides are written to five rules.
- Sources cited. Facts about Hermes, the law and payments link to the pages they came from.
- One set of numbers. Every buying figure in a guide is generated from the same model as the calculator, so the two cannot disagree.
- Dated. Prices and facts are reviewed when demand or a fact changes, and each page shows the date it was last updated.
- Reported is not confirmed. Where Hermes does not publish something, such as its date stamp letters, the guide says the fact is reported by collectors.
- Corrections on request. Ring or WhatsApp 07939 590661 with the page and the problem. If we got it wrong, we fix it.
Why We Are Strict About the Full Set
The full set is the bag, the key, the lock and clochette, the box and the original receipt. We insist on it for three reasons.
Speed
The receipt settles the year and the purchase in one document. It is what lets authentication take about 15 minutes rather than days.
Ownership
A receipt that matches your ID is the cleanest proof the bag is yours to sell. Receiving goods known or believed to be stolen is a crime under section 22 of the Theft Act 1968.
Price
The next owner expects a complete set. Every band on this site assumes one, and that is why the bands are as strong as they are.
